Clouds Here I Come

Posted under: From the Blog 20th of March, 2010

One of the things I found most frustrating as an IT Director was not having the time to explore  new services on the internet. For several years I have felt a bit embarrassed at how little time I have been able to afford to experiencing mainstream cloud services like gmail, windows live, wordpress, linkedin, youtube, facebook and others.

Since leaving QUT, I have committed to a personal journey of cloud service  discovery, so far spending about 50 hours in March 2010.

I have started researching in an organised way with an experimental plan and video logging, like the following.

I hope you will see the evidence of my growing confidence with these services over the next few months.

And that my experiences will be useful to you squeezing value from the cloud.
